I’m Brandon — a tattoo artist and painter who comes from a very different world.
Where I grew up, art wasn’t seen as expression. It was misunderstood — often linked to rebellion or gangs. I spent part of my early life in dark places, but art saved me. It gave me purpose, direction, and the chance to build a different future.
I started out as an errand boy in a tattoo shop, watching, learning, and slowly earning my space.
That journey taught me discipline, patience, and love for this craft.
The biggest change in my life came with the birth of my son. He became my reason to grow. He pulled me out of the streets and gave me the strength to choose a better path — and today, he’s the reason I push forward, determined to give him the life I never had.
Outside of tattooing, I’m a street painter — I love turning empty walls into art that speaks to people. I’ve also had the opportunity to teach art classes to children, hoping to inspire them and keep them away from the streets and bad influences. I truly believe art can save lives, because it saved mine.
Recently, I bought my first motorcycle — just like the boss’s — and I’m learning to embrace a freer, more fearless way of living.
I don’t speak much English (yet), but I always manage to connect with people. Art is a universal language — and that’s the one I speak best.
Personal quote:
“Art saved my life — now I use it to light the way for others.”
